Bitcoin Reaches New All-Time High of $103,7000

As reported by CoinGecko, Bitcoin’s price peaked at $103,679 before experiencing a minor correction, declining by 2% over the subsequent four hours. Since the start of the year, Bitcoin’s price has increased by more than 130%, with its market capitalization exceeding $2.02 trillion. The cryptocurrency now holds a market dominance of approximately 57%.

All major cryptocurrencies are presently showing positive performance, contributing to the total market capitalization reaching its record-setting $3.86 trillion. However, Solana is an outlier, with its price remaining relatively stable over the past week. In the meantime, the Fear & Greed Index is at 84 points, consistently staying above 75 for the last month.

Analysts credit Bitcoin’s recent price increase to an announcement from Donald Trump regarding the appointment of Paul Atkins, a recognized advocate for cryptocurrency and digital assets, as the next Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Additionally, the growing adoption of Bitcoin by institutional investors has significantly enhanced its upward momentum.

Two weeks prior, Bitcoin last reached its ATH, nearing the $100,000 threshold. Analysts linked this growth to similar influences, including the crypto-friendly policies of the Trump administration and increased interest from institutional players.
