XRP Price Slid as Bitwise Drives $11 Million ETF Inflows

1

U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracted $11.31 million in net inflows between October 5 and October 9, even as XRP declined from approximately $1.52 to $1.40 and briefly touched a low of $1.32. This divergence keeps a key question in focus: can concentrated fund demand defend the $1.32-$1.38 support zone, or must XRP reclaim the $1.50-$1.56 range before its short-term trend improves?

Bitwise accounted for $10.55 million of the weekly total, nearly carrying the market-wide result on its own. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ added $4.10 million, while Canary Capital’s XRPC recorded a $3.34 million outflow; three of the five trading sessions saw no net flow.

Excluding Bitwise, the other funds combined added only about $760,000 in net inflows. This is a material qualification to the 12-week streak: inflows have persisted, but last week’s figures do not show evenly distributed demand across issuers. Upcoming weekly totals will test whether buying broadens or the streak remains dependent on one large fund.

ETF net assets stand at approximately $1.57 billion, against roughly $1.8 billion in cumulative inflows since launch. The resulting gap of around $230 million serves as a rough mark-to-market indicator.

The contrast with other crypto funds is notable. U.S. funds shed $681 million over the same week, while XRP was the only one of the cited bitcoin, ether, solana, and XRP fund groups to finish with net inflows. That relative resilience is real, but the single-week comparison does not establish that ETF demand can absorb continued selling in the spot market.

Can Buyers Defend XRP $1.32-$1.38 Price Support Zone?

XRP opened the week near $1.52, ended Friday around $1.40, and touched $1.32 on October 8. The close-to-close decline stands at 7.3%, as the price action erased a meaningful portion of the preceding level.

The $1.32-$1.38 area represents the immediate support test. Holding this level while ETF flows remain positive would be consistent with dip buying, but a single bounce would not confirm a durable floor; a break below the zone would indicate that inflows have not prevented further technical deterioration.

On the upside, primary source levels place resistance at $1.50-$1.56. A sustained reclaim of that band, rather than a brief intraday move into it, would provide stronger evidence that the short-term trend is improving. Until then, ETF inflows are a supportive flow signal, not confirmation of a price reversal.

A separate XRP support-level assessment also examines downside scenarios around the current price area.

Evernorth Adds Another XRP Vehicle

Evernorth’s XRPN began trading on Nasdaq on Monday, October 12, adding another listed route to XRP exposure. The primary report states the vehicle holds about 473 million XRP, but its immediate effect on spot demand or price is not yet established.

This distinction matters for the XRP price outlook. If the token holds support and ETF flows remain positive across more issuers, the case for accumulation on weakness strengthens; if support fails or flows narrow further, the 12-week streak will offer little proof of a reliable floor.

A sustained move back through $1.50-$1.56 remains the clearest stated threshold for short-term trend improvement, while Evernorth’s XRP exposure is a potential demand factor whose market impact still needs to be demonstrated.
