USDT Emerges as Payment Option in UAE Real Estate Market
In the United Arab Emirates, real estate can now be purchased with USDT, with over 32,000 local and international brokers supporting such transactions.
Tether signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Reelly Tech, a global B2B platform for developers and real estate brokers. Through this partnership, Reelly Tech will enable its clients to use USDT for real estate transactions in the UAE and other countries.
Reelly’s platform connects 290 developers and over 32,000 brokers operating in the UAE and beyond, offering advanced AI tools for marketing and analytics. The platform hosts a database of more than 1,495 projects, with its headquarters in Dubai.
According to the press release, this initiative aligns with Dubai’s booming real estate market, which grew by 27.5% in 2024, reaching 283 billion dirhams.
Tether and Reelly Tech aim to highlight the potential of stablecoins in simplifying real estate transactions for buyers and streamlining business operations for developers and brokers. As part of this initiative, the companies will develop interactive educational materials to promote stablecoin adoption in real estate.
Vitalii Ryzhak, CEO of Reelly, emphasized that integrating USDT into the platform’s financial processes will enhance security, efficiency, and accessibility for international real estate investments. Meanwhile, Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, praised the UAE’s progressive stance on cryptocurrencies and Web3 technologies, noting that Tether is committed to fostering a sustainable digital economy by equipping individuals and businesses with the necessary tools and knowledge.
In late 2024, La Rosa Holdings launched Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency payments for real estate brokers to meet the growing U.S. demand for alternative payment methods.
