NodeOps Secures $5 Million in Seed Funding to Enhance Node Infrastructure

NodeOps has obtained $5 million in seed funding to improve and streamline the deployment and management of blockchain nodes.

As per a recent announcement by NodeOps on social media, the funding round was spearheaded by L1D, with contributions from Blockchain Founders Fund, Finality Capital, Oakgrave Ventures, Douple Peak Group, Momentum6, Bitscale Capital, among others.

“NodeOps’ objective to eliminate obstacles for developers and node operators, equipping them with essential tools, resonates with me. I’m pleased to support this initiative, contributing to a more secure future for the Ethereum ecosystem,” remarked L1D Managing Partner Ray Hindi.

NodeOps’ Objective to Enhance Node Services

The angel investors included Richard Ma from Quantstamp, former Polygon co-founder JD Kanani, Rushi Manche from Movement Labs, and Dorothy Liu at AltLayer.

NodeOps indicated that their aim is to enhance accessibility and efficiency in dependable infrastructure, fostering innovation and growth.

“With this funding, we’re eager to initiate our next phase of developing a permissionless Node Orchestration Layer Enabling Value Capture Engine for the on-chain ecosystem and broaden operations to support additional protocols,” the announcement states.

Permissionless Infrastructure on EigenLayer

NodeOps is among the early adopters of artificial intelligence as infrastructure for protocols. As the first permissionless infrastructure marketplace on EigenLayer, it seeks to improve AI, DePIN, and protocol infrastructure.

“NodeOps’ growth trajectory reflects our team’s commitment and the confidence our investors have in us. With this new funding, we are set to transform the node infrastructure landscape, making it more efficient and sustainable,” stated the company’s co-founder Naman Kabra.

The company also intends to introduce an AVS on EigenLayer to establish a value capture engine for developers and node operators, aiming to provide economic security and enhance engagement and productivity within the ecosystem.
