Binance to Delist 12 Bitcoin Trading Pairs on October 30
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, announced that it will delist 12 spot trading pairs with Bitcoin on October 30. The list includes pairs with altcoins and the gold-backed token XAUT.
The affected pairs are AAVE/BTC, ATOM/BTC, CAKE/BTC, DASH/BTC, ETC/BTC, ICP/BTC, PENDLE/BTC, RENDER/BTC, TAO/BTC, THETA/BTC, XAUT/BTC, and XTZ/BTC.
Simultaneously, the exchange will cease support for trading bots operating with the aforementioned pairs. Users of these tools are advised to adjust their settings or stop automated trading in advance. Otherwise, users risk incurring losses due to the cessation of bot operations.
Binance representatives explained that the exchange regularly reviews available trading pairs, assessing liquidity and trading volumes. Instruments that no longer meet the platform’s requirements may be delisted.
Binance emphasized that the delisting applies only to the listed Bitcoin pairs. The cryptocurrencies themselves will remain available on the spot market, and platform clients can continue trading them through other supported pairs.
Previously, Binance announced the delisting of seven trading pairs with tokens AXL, CRV, EGLD, OPN, POL, QTUM, and SKY. The exchange cited low trading volumes and insufficient liquidity as the reasons.
