Users of the Avalanche blockchain can now purchase AVAX tokens using fiat currency directly within Web3 applications. This capability has been enabled by the integration of a dedicated widget from Stripe.
Ava Labs, the organization behind the Avalanche blockchain network, announced the integration with payment service provider Stripe. Through this collaboration, verified Stripe users will have the ability to acquire AVAX tokens with fiat currency and keep them in their wallets.
Additionally, developers of Web3 applications within the Avalanche ecosystem now have the option to incorporate a specialized widget from Stripe into their service interfaces, allowing users to convert fiat funds into cryptocurrency.
Eight applications on the Avalanche blockchain have already confirmed the integration of the widget, including:

As stated by Akash Gupta, Head of Consumer Products at Ava Labs, the partnership with Stripe is primarily focused on enhancing global cryptocurrency adoption and will also enable developers to create intuitive and user-friendly solutions utilizing Avalanche.
Recently, John Collison, Co-Founder and President of Stripe, announced that the company is reintroducing support for cryptocurrency. Beginning this summer, Stripe services will facilitate payments in USD Coin (USDC) stablecoins across Solana, Ethereum, and Polygon blockchains.
The Avalanche team has also disclosed a partnership with Alipay, one of the largest payment systems, to initiate a discount Web3 voucher program.
