Solana ETFs Record Worst Day Since December as SOL Holds Above $100

US spot Solana (SOL) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) lost $19.16 million on Tuesday, October 27, marking their largest daily outflow since December 3, 2025.

The selling pressure comes as SOL trades at $101.87, according to BeInCrypto Markets data. Analysts monitoring SOL’s charts identify $100 as a critical support level, with the token currently trading less than $2 above this threshold.

October Is Now the Worst Month for Solana ETFs

SoSoValue data indicates that only one trading session since the ETFs’ launch has seen larger outflows than Tuesday’s, specifically the $32.19 million exit on December 3, 2025. With an additional $8.23 million withdrawn on Monday, the funds are on track to record their worst week since inception.

This week’s $27.38 million loss already surpasses the $25.52 million that exited during the week ending October 16. It also exceeds the $24.81 million outflow in the week ending October 9, which had concluded a 14-week buying streak.

Month-to-date outflows have reached $99.62 million. June was the only other month to finish in the red, losing approximately $787,000.

Total net assets have declined to $1.54 billion from $1.96 billion on September 25. Cumulative net inflows dropped by about $93 million over that period, indicating that SOL’s falling price accounts for the majority of the decline.

Can SOL Hold the $100 Line?

SOL has fallen 13.8% so far in October, putting it on track for its eighth losing month of 2026. Over the past week, the token is down 3.7%.

On October 21, with SOL trading near $106, BeInCrypto flagged a potential head-and-shoulders pattern with a neckline around $100. A daily close below this level would confirm the pattern and open the door for a decline toward $80.

MCO Global Research identifies hourly support between $98.86 and $100.47, with a swing low at $98.62. The firm states that a new low would provide further evidence for downside momentum, while a move above $109.20 would invalidate its bearish outlook.

According to CryptoRank data, November has historically favored SOL, with a median gain of 15.3% since 2020. However, last November the token fell 28.3% even as newly launched ETFs attracted $419.38 million, marking their largest month on record.

This precedent demonstrates that ETF demand alone did not protect the price a year ago. With funds now selling amid price volatility, whether spot buyers absorb these redemptions may determine if the head-and-shoulders pattern confirms.
