  • The publication will feature “untold stories” connected to the project, as stated by Yuga.

CryptoPunks, which was introduced six years ago and ignited the NFT art movement while also serving as a model for various subsequent projects, is set to release its own official book. Yuga Labs, the entity behind the CryptoPunks intellectual property, has disclosed a new collaboration with Zak Group, the design firm responsible for Nike’s and Virgil Abloh’s “Icons” book.

The book will “detail every Punk, pixel by pixel,” highlighting the artwork of the 10,000 NFTs and their notable impact since their launch. It is expected to be available this winter. Notable digital artists and community members will contribute to the book alongside the original creators of the CryptoPunks, Matt Hall and John Watkinson from Larva Labs.

Untold Stories Related to Project

Yuga Labs has also committed to documenting the book’s creation and incorporating community input throughout the process. In addition to content from the official CryptoPunks Discord and Twitter accounts, the book will include “untold stories” associated with the project, as promised by Yuga.

Currently, these NFTs are trading on secondary markets for just over $89,000 worth of , a significant decrease from a “floor price” exceeding $417,000 in November 2021.
