Peter Schiff’s Unexpected Shift: Introduction of New Bitcoin Ordinals NFT
- The collection has been named “Golden Triumph.”
- The NFT collection will be open for bidding from June 2 through June 9.
In an unexpected development, Peter Schiff, who has long been critical of cryptocurrencies and previously dismissed NFTs as valueless and easily replicable, is preparing to launch his own NFT art collection on the Bitcoin platform.
I'm excited to announce an art project with one of my favorite artists, Market Price. This collaboration includes the original painting “Golden Triumph” along with a series of prints and Ordinals inscribed on the #Bitcoin blockchain. Schiff announced on Twitter his collaboration with digital artist Market Price for the launch of his exclusive set of Ordinals. The collection, named Golden Triumph, emphasizes his steadfast belief in gold as a dependable store of value. Within the Golden Triumph collection, there is an intriguing physical painting on an oil linen canvas depicting a human hand securely holding a gold bar.
Alongside this artwork, 50 prints on archival paper feature the same striking image. Additionally, the collection comprises 50 digital versions of the artwork, designated as Ordinal NFTs on the Bitcoin network. Reports suggest that the collection will be auctioned in two phases, with bidding commencing on June 2 and ending on June 9.
