Doodles Introduces New Digital Apparel Collection and Airdrop for NFT Holders
- Doodles will enable NFT holders to personalize their avatars with intricate details.
- The company has partnered with Pharrell Williams and Adidas.
Doodles has transitioned from its initial concept as an Ethereum profile picture (PFP) to now offering fully customizable avatars. With the collaboration of Pharrell Williams and Adidas, today marks the launch of the Doodles 2 Character Builder within The Stoodio app for NFT holders.
To commemorate the launch of the Character Builder, which permits Doodles NFT holders to personalize their avatars with fine details, the company has revealed an upcoming airdrop for a “Pharrell Pack.” This NFT bundle features digital clothing inspired by musician Pharrell Williams and the fashion brands he is associated with.
Pipeline of Brand Partners
The bundle comprises digital Doodles apparel from Adidas, Human Made, the BBC, and Ice Cream. Each pack includes digital wearables and a voucher that can be redeemed for one unique clothing item.
Only 300 packs will be produced. Those who possess Doodles and fulfill the criteria will receive them at no charge. The project’s webpage indicates that to participate, one must hold a Dooplicator NFT and an original Doodles NFT. If more than 300 individuals meet the criteria by the deadline, a lottery will be conducted to select the winners.
Regarding the potential for future collaborations or independent digital apparel for Doodles, Joe Ranzenbach, Doodles’ Head of Product Management, did not confirm any such initiatives. However, he stated that Doodles has a “pipeline of brand partners” prepared for forthcoming releases.
Williams, the renowned musician and record producer known for hits like “Happy,” has been linked with Doodles since he was appointed the company’s Chief Brand Officer in June 2022. Although an NFT-inspired album (executive produced by Williams) was announced for release under Columbia Records at that time, it has not yet been realized.
