STEPN Introduces $30 Million FSL Points Airdrop Ahead of Partnership Announcement
The web3 move-to-earn application STEPN has initiated a 100 million FSL Points ‘trailblazer’ airdrop campaign in anticipation of its partnership announcement.
As stated in a press release distributed to Cryptonews.com, the Solana-based non-fungible token (NFT) initiative plans to split this airdrop, valued at a total of $30 million, into two phases, with the FSL Points being exchangeable for STEPN’s native GMT tokens.
The 100 Million FSL Points Airdrop
The first phase of the airdrop focused on STEPN’s Badge Holders, allocating FSL Points according to the complexity of their completed in-app tasks and challenges.
During the second phase, Genesis Sneaker holders received FSL Points based on the length of their ownership, acknowledging their loyalty and ongoing engagement with the application.

FSL Points holders have two choices for utilizing their points: they can exchange these points for GMT tokens on the STEPN marketplace or keep them to purchase tickets for Raffle Mints in future events and forthcoming partnerships.
“We have opted to launch this substantial airdrop campaign as a gesture of appreciation to our most devoted community members, granting them priority access to our upcoming mints and other exclusive rewards,” stated STEPN CEO Shiti Manghani.
This campaign represents the third annual airdrop since the inaugural one in 2022. The application has distributed 235 million GMT tokens across the three events.
Eligible airdrop participants will have until April 29 to act. The allocated tokens will be forfeited if they do not claim their rewards.
Upcoming Partnership with World’s Best-Known Brand
The announcement also included a hint regarding the app’s forthcoming partnership with “one of the world’s best-known sports brands.”
“STEPN currently finds itself at a very exciting juncture,” remarked Manghani. “With significant plans in the works this year to accelerate our growth and solidify our leading position in the move-and-earn sector.”
