The Starknet Foundation revealed on May 7 a new $5 million seed grant initiative aimed at fostering emerging projects within the network, enhancing blockchain innovation.
The Seed Grants Programme will assist at least 200 promising teams with $25,000 in USD Coin to provide the “final push” necessary for projects to launch on Starknet.
Details of the Starknet Grant
As per a report from the Starknet Foundation, the grant is intended for Starknet-related projects that have already created a minimum viable product (MVP) or proof-of-concept.

The program will implement “a simplified application and evaluation process” aimed at maximizing participation. The grant will also be distributed swiftly, “with a decision expected approximately two weeks” after submission.
While priority will be given to those who have previously engaged with Starknet, the opportunity remains open to all developers.
The Growth of Starknet
Starknet has experienced rising adoption as developers transition to its ecosystem to benefit from its low fees, scalability, and developer-centric tools.
This aligns with the goal of the seed grant, providing projects with the financial support they require.

Starknet x Nevermind Grant
Starknet’s dedication to promoting blockchain development also encompasses less established developer teams.
In collaboration with Nevermind, Starknet is launching an additional $1 million initiative to support applications and products on Starknet.
In contrast to the seed grant, this opportunity is available to teams at all stages of development. Whether they aim to integrate an existing product into the Starknet ecosystem, possess a detailed proof of concept, or simply have a preliminary idea.
This will provide grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 to builders “to advance the Starknet ecosystem with innovative, user-facing products.”
Starknet will offer experienced engineers and advisors who will be available to provide design advice, technical support, and guidance.
It will leverage Starknet’s ecosystem within its community to facilitate partnerships, collaborations, and future funding opportunities.
