Binance has introduced a new feature for its clients in Latin America. This solution will allow users in nine Latin American countries to send cryptocurrency through Binance Pay; thus, recipients in Argentina and Colombia can directly receive these transfers into their bank accounts.

On Aug. 29, Binance revealed the new “Send Cash” feature, which aims to provide a more efficient and cost-effective method for digital money transfers, addressing the significant financial inclusion issues in the region.

  • As per the World Bank’s Global Fintex 2021 report, 42% of adults in Latin America do not have access to banking services, which is nearly twice the global average.
  • Send Cash, set to launch in nations such as Colombia, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, seeks to deliver a smooth, low-cost solution for Binance users, tackling the inclusivity challenges.
  • Min Lin, Binance’s Regional VP for Latin America, highlighted the company’s commitment to the region, stating,

“This is another step forward for Binance, which renews its commitment to the crypto industry in Latin America, to the expansion of the benefits it offers in terms of financial inclusion, and to developing new ways of using crypto in everyday life.”

  • Binance’s forward-thinking strategy follows its recent partnerships with Despegar, Credencial Payment, and Vita Wallet.
  • These collaborations are aimed at expanding payment options, with Binance Pay positioned as a key payment method, especially for cross-border transactions.
