As reported by Terrett, additional attendees will include Jito CLO Rebecca Rettig, Circle CSO Dante Disparte, Uniswap CEO Hayden Adams, Ripple CLO Stuart Alderoty, and a16z general counsel Miles Jennings.

This news regarding the Wednesday roundtable follows closely after Senate Democrats introduced their own proposal for structure.

In a statement on October 9, Blockchain Association CEO Summer Mersinger asserted that the proposal would “drive responsible development overseas.”

“The disappointing proposal outlined by Senate Democrats would effectively ban decentralized finance, wallet development, and other applications in the United States—an outcome that’s neither workable nor consistent with American innovation,” Mersinger stated.

Nevertheless, with the government shutdown currently in effect, it remains uncertain how U.S. lawmakers will reconcile their differences to advance policies.
