Oil Price Forecast: Will Oil Maintain Its Trajectory This April? – Is It an Opportune Moment to Invest?

25

Oil has just recorded its largest single-day price increase in three weeks, with numerous analysts sharing a common outlook: Oil may have the potential to rise further.

Brent crude jumped 7.6%, reaching $108 per barrel Thursday morning, while WTI increased by $7.06, or 7.1%, to $107.18. However, the question remains whether this momentum can be sustained through April, or if this spike is merely a temporary fluctuation before a decline occurs. It is noted that Trump mentioned the possibility of the war concluding this April.

The catalyst for this surge was President Trump’s televised speech, in which he pledged to persist with U.S. strikes on Iran. “We’re going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks,” Trump stated, providing no indication of a ceasefire or diplomatic resolution. The markets reacted immediately. Brent had been declining prior to the address but then reversed sharply.

The entire market anticipated President Trump’s address to the nation would be de-escalatory.
Instead, he indicated that the war would continue until late-April, threatened to target Iranian power facilities, and claimed Iran would be sent back to the “stone age.”

Priyanka Sachdeva, a senior market analyst at Phillip Nova, highlighted the lack of “clear mention of ceasefire or diplomatic engagement” as a key factor, cautioning that if maritime risks escalate, oil prices could reach new highs.

Both benchmarks remain below the $119+ peak reached earlier in the conflict, but the narrative surrounding the Strait of Hormuz has resurfaced, altering the dynamics significantly.

The $108, $109 range is now serving as a short-term support level following Thursday’s increase. Resistance levels are clustered around $112–$115, with the psychologically significant $119 mark, the previous conflict high, representing the upper limit for bullish scenarios. Analysts at The Middle East Insider have identified $120 as the crucial breakout point as April approaches, dependent on the risk of disruption in Hormuz remaining high.

“The short-term increase has been entirely the result of the Iranian regime launching deranged terror attacks against commercial oil tankers and neighboring countries.”

The momentum is genuine. However, momentum based solely on one factor, geopolitical risk, is inherently unstable. (A single presidential tweet in the opposite direction could drastically alter this situation.) J.P. Morgan and S&P Global have both adjusted their 2026 price forecasts upward, but neither is asserting that $120 is a guaranteed minimum.

Bitcoin Hyper Targets Early Movers as Oil Traders Assess Commodity Risk

Oil this, oil that. The volatility in commodities of this scale often drives a specific type of capital to seek asymmetric alternatives, assets that are uncorrelated with Middle Eastern developments, where the potential for gains isn’t limited by a geopolitical resolution. This is where the discussion of rotation begins. Oil at $108 may increase another 10%. But can what has already risen continue to do so without the same catalyst?

Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is positioning itself as one of those early-stage asymmetric opportunities, and the presale figures are compelling. The project claims to be the first-ever Bitcoin with Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) integration, offering sub-second finality and smart contract programmability while leveraging Bitcoin’s security layer.

Current presale price: $0.0136. Total raised: $32 million. Staking is active with a high 36% APY, and the decentralized canonical bridge for transfers is a notable technical feature, combining Bitcoin’s liquidity, Solana’s speed, and avoiding Ethereum’s limitations.

The proposal addresses Bitcoin’s three primary limitations: slow transactions, high fees, and lack of programmability.
