The Aptos blockchain achieved 115.4 million daily transactions, driven by the popular Web3 game Tapos Cat, setting new performance benchmarks for Layer 1 (L1) protocols. The platform’s transaction processing capability reached 32,000 per second.
Aptos, an L1 blockchain protocol created by former employees of Facebook and Google, processed 115.4 million transactions on May 25. This marked a new high, doubling the previous record set by Sui Network in August 2023.
Data from Aptoscan indicates that the platform’s transaction rate surpassed 32,000 transactions per second (TPS). Despite the significant load, the blockchain network sustained a high success rate and minimal gas fees. This efficiency was facilitated by the Aggregator feature, which enables the simultaneous processing of multiple transactions, ensuring the network operates effectively.
