The founder of the largest corporate public Bitcoin holder, Strategy, Michael Saylor, believes that in 20 years, the first cryptocurrency will evolve into a global asset with a market capitalization of approximately $400 trillion, and the price of a single coin could reach $20–21 million.

Saylor is confident that Bitcoin will exhibit an annual growth rate of around 29% in the long run. While the pace may slow over time, it is expected to remain within the range of 20–30% each year.

Currently, Saylor perceives Bitcoin as being oversold, suggesting that by the end of the year, the price will likely be higher than it is now. However, he considers short-term forecasts to be ineffective: predicting price movements over a few weeks is nearly impossible, as “Bitcoin regularly surprises the market.”

According to the head of Strategy, the primary driver of growth is the recognition of Bitcoin as a legitimate asset by the world’s largest economies: the USA, Europe, China, and Japan. Additionally, investments from banks and the initiation of lending in Bitcoin could provide further momentum for the first cryptocurrency’s growth.

“If financial institutions begin to hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets and offer loans against it, this will significantly accelerate growth. Furthermore, the market is gradually shifting from traditional instruments, stocks, and bonds, towards the creation of credit products based on ,” stated the crypto entrepreneur.

Saylor assured that Strategy has no plans to stop accumulating Bitcoin, even in light of the asset’s declining value. According to the company leader, the more capital that is raised, the more BTC can be acquired—and this cycle will contribute to the asset’s growth.

Regarding Ethereum, Saylor does not view the second cryptocurrency as having the same potential as Bitcoin. He explained that the primary value of the Ethereum network lies in its role as an infrastructure for asset tokenization and the development of the sector.

Previously, Saylor indicated that Bitcoin had already reached a bottom around $60,000, and the cessation of its decline is attributed not to a reevaluation of the asset, but to the exhaustion of selling pressure.
