Analysts from CoinGecko released a report that examined the distribution of user interest across different subjects in 2024. Meme coins surfaced as the predominant crypto narrative, collectively drawing 30.67% of global investor attention across 25 subcategories.
The distribution of interest for the leading meme coin-related topics is outlined as follows:
- overall meme coins (14.36%);
- meme coins on the Solana blockchain (7.65%);
- meme coins on the Base blockchain (2.13%);
- meme coins featuring AI themes (1.49%);
- cat-themed meme coins (1.19%).
