Mango Network to Distribute 5% of Token Supply—Details on Eligibility Verification

12

Mango Network, an emerging Layer 1 blockchain initiative, announced a community airdrop on Friday in anticipation of its Token Generation Event. The team plans to allocate 5% of its total $MGO supply to early users, testnet participants, and contributors from the community.

The eligibility checker is now operational, allowing users to connect their wallets and follow a three-step process to verify and ultimately claim their rewards.

Distribution is set to commence on June 24, with tokens being issued in the order of claims received.

Initially, users are required to “bind” their Twitter accounts, which entails linking their Twitter profile to Mango’s platform for identity and activity verification. Additionally, they must follow BeingDEX, Mango’s ecosystem partner.

Airdrop Claiming Begins June 24, With Eligibility Determined By Weighted Points

After linking their profile, users can move forward to verify their airdrop allocation. A countdown timer on the website indicates the remaining time to confirm eligibility.

Subsequently, users can view and validate their airdrop allocation. Once validated, the final step will enable users to claim their rewards when the claim window opens at 17:50 UTC on June 24.

In contrast to standard airdrops that rely solely on point totals, Mango employs a weighted system. Token distribution will take into account not only the number of points a user possesses but also the quality of their testnet involvement and any community roles they may have held, such as OG status.

All Tokens To Be Fully Unlocked At Claim, With Caution Advised Against Scams

All tokens will be completely unlocked at the time of distribution. However, the team has advised users to exercise caution regarding scams. They emphasized that only official Mango channels should be relied upon for claiming instructions.

In the meantime, Mango Network has established itself as a next-generation blockchain. It seeks to address two of Web3’s most significant challenges — fragmented liquidity and subpar user experience. To achieve this, the project utilizes a multi-VM, full-chain infrastructure. This architecture promises an enhanced experience for both developers and users.

With the airdrop in progress, Mango is rewarding those who contributed to its foundational development. At the same time, it provides a preview of what the future of its ecosystem may entail.
