Major Companies to Accelerate Bull Market in Cryptocurrency, Says Exodus CEO, 2026/04/13 17:05:41

Small retail investors are becoming increasingly less active in the cryptocurrency market, while financial institutions are expanding their presence, stated JP Richardson, the CEO of the cryptocurrency wallet operator Exodus. He believes that it is the large companies that can drive the bullish rally in the crypto market.
Richardson provided several examples that he believes illustrate the dominance of major investors. First and foremost is the market capitalization of stablecoins, which has reached an all-time high of $319 billion. This development indicates an increase in liquidity and the willingness of large players to engage in transactions involving digital assets.
The entrepreneur mentioned the American bank Morgan Stanley, which has launched the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust exchange-traded fund (ETF), providing traditional investors with regulated access to the first cryptocurrency. Last week, the financial corporation Charles Schwab opened a waiting list for spot trading of bitcoins. All of this demonstrates the growing demand for cryptocurrency among large investors, according to Richardson.
He also referenced the investment firm Franklin Templeton, which announced the establishment of a dedicated cryptocurrency division, showcasing a long-term strategic interest in cryptocurrencies. Recently, the American mortgage company Fannie Mae allowed clients to use bitcoin as collateral or proof of creditworthiness when applying for a mortgage.
“In 2018 and 2022, companies retreated from the crypto market alongside retail investors. This time, they are accelerating its growth,” wrote the CEO of Exodus on social media X, indicating that the entry of large companies is making the crypto market more mature and better supplied with liquidity.
According to a forecast by River Financial, by 2026, the amount of bitcoin held by corporate investors is expected to increase significantly, as more companies recognize bitcoin as a viable tool for capital preservation and mitigating inflation risks.
