In 2024, the crypto processing platform BitPay handled over 600,000 transactions, with Litecoin (LTC) emerging as the most favored cryptocurrency for payments, representing more than 30% of all transactions.
BitPay, one of the longest-standing crypto processing platforms, released its annual report for 2024, indicating a total of 608,000 transactions. The top five cryptocurrencies utilized by BitPay users are as follows:
- Litecoin: 201,165 payments.
- Bitcoin: 130,250 payments.
- Ethereum: 56,356 payments.
- Dogecoin: 32,148 payments.
- USD Coin: 24,768 payments.
