Ledger, a manufacturer of hardware crypto wallets, has revealed a collaboration with Revolut, the foremost provider of digital payment solutions in Europe. Through this partnership, Revolut will act as a new provider on the Ledger Live platform for acquiring cryptocurrencies.

Users will be able to seamlessly convert their fiat currency into crypto directly within the Ledger Live application. They simply need to launch the app, select the desired digital asset and amount, and then opt for Revolut as their payment option.

Pascal Gauthier, Chair and CEO of Ledger, stated that the collaboration seeks to enhance access to cryptocurrencies for users accustomed to managing their financial assets without third-party involvement. He noted that the alliance with Revolut will greatly empower participants in the crypto ecosystem.

For users of Revolut, this partnership will also offer advantages, such as simplified identity verification and improved access to digital assets. Additionally, Ledger’s sophisticated security solutions for crypto wallets will provide Revolut users with an elevated level of protection for their digital assets.

Revolut holds a license from the Bank of Lithuania, enabling it to officially offer its services within the European Union.

In late 2023, hackers succeeded in breaching Ledger’s hardware devices designed for the cold storage of cryptocurrencies.
