Joe Rogan and Post Malone Expressed Worries About a Possible Introduction of CBDC in the United States
The well-known podcaster and commentator – Joe Rogan – along with the renowned musician – Austin Richard Post (commonly recognized by his stage name Post Malone) – seem to oppose the anticipated introduction of a digital dollar. Rogan went so far as to assert that such a financial instrument would lead to a “game over” situation.
The prospective development of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) has become a contentious issue, with numerous other notable figures expressing their dissent. Among them are presidential candidates Ron DeSantis and Robert F. Kennedy.

During their discussion, Rogan and his latest podcast guest Post Malone explored various intriguing topics, including CBDCs. When asked about his feelings regarding the US government’s potential move towards this product, Rogan responded:
“No f*ucking way. No way. That’s what I think. I think that’s checkmate. That’s game over.”

Post Malone concurred with Rogan’s remarks, adding his voice to the extensive list of individuals who believe that a digital dollar would not yield any economic advantages for American society.
Rogan further indicated that the government might utilize the CBDC to surveil and regulate individuals’ transactions. Post Malone acknowledged this perspective, asserting that authorities are already monitoring activities since “everything is imprinted and digital.”

Conversely, Rogan is not enthusiastic about NFTs, referring to them as a cryptocurrency “hustle.” He is astonished by the substantial sums people spend on digital art when it can be downloaded for free:
