Assets allocated to cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and exchange-traded products (ETPs) have reached an unprecedented peak of $91.69 billion by the end of July, as reported by ETFGI, an independent research organization.

ETFGI highlights that assets have surged by 506.4% throughout 2024, rising from $15.12 billion at the close of 2023 to $91.69 billion.

This was the first Bitcoin-based security offered on a regulated exchange. The industry has evolved significantly since then, with major players like BlackRock iShares and Fidelity entering the market with new spot Bitcoin ETFs.

In July alone, crypto ETFs and ETPs worldwide attracted net inflows of $13.65 billion, bringing the total year-to-date net inflows to $59.25 billion.
