As per data from DefiLlama, Pump.fun, a meme coin minting protocol built on the Solana blockchain, generated $5.33 million in revenue in the last 24 hours, raising the protocol’s fees to a record $33.3 million for the month.

The daily revenue figures for Pump.fun were considerably greater than those of other well-known protocols and blockchains. For instance, DefiLlama indicated that the Ethereum blockchain and the Lido protocol generated $1.67 million and $2.37 million in the past 24 hours, respectively, which is 68% and 55% lower than Pump.fun’s daily revenue. Additionally, the platform’s performance exceeded that of the Solana blockchain by 78%, which earned $1.15 million in fees over the same period.

Pump.fun’s monthly revenue reached an all-time high of $33.33 million, placing it in eighth position in the rankings, ahead of major players like AAVE and PancakeSwap. However, the platform’s monthly fee volume remained lower than that of Ethereum and Lido by 197% and 162%, respectively.

Recently, the Solana blockchain surpassed Ethereum in transaction fees for the first time, attributed to the activity of Pump.fun users.
