Trump Raises $25 Million in Nashville
Donald Trump, who was previously skeptical about cryptocurrency, reportedly raised $25 million at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville last weekend.
Following Trump’s keynote address, the majority of the funds were collected during a Saturday fundraiser held at Nashville’s Music City Center.
This event became his “second largest fundraiser ever,” with donations coming from a combination of industry leaders and notable crypto personalities.
In addition to the Bitcoin conference fundraiser, Trump organized another prominent fundraising event in Nashville. Tickets reached prices of $844,600, and a photo opportunity with the former president was set at a minimum of $60,000.
Prior to the conference, Trump had already secured over $4 million in digital currencies, including Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, and USDC. Notably, the Winklevoss twins were among the leading contributors, each donating 15.57 Bitcoin, valued at over $1 million at the time of their contribution.
