World Liberty Financial, the cryptocurrency channel of former U.S. President Donald Trump, issued a warning regarding scams and counterfeit tokens on August 26.
The notification shared in the Telegram channel advised against schemes “purportedly linked to Defiant Ones and World Liberty.” Trump’s channel urged followers to refrain from engaging with such cryptocurrency tokens.
“For your safety, please remember that all official updates will be posted exclusively in this channel by our trusted team,” the notification stated. “If it’s not from us, it’s not legitimate.”
Claims to Transform U.S. Financial Institutions
The channel also released another statement from Trump concerning the transformation of financial institutions and the system in the United States.
“People, we all recognize how corrupt banks and financial institutions manipulate the system against ordinary Americans,” Trump remarked in the statement. “They exclude individuals, refuse loans, overwhelm them with paperwork, and burden them with legal and processing fees.”
