Stablecoin provider Circle and the South Korean NFT-centric metaverse ‘Overdare’ are collaborating to enable game developers to create in-game Web3 wallets within the platform.
This partnership will also allow game developers to facilitate direct USDC payouts on the platform, according to a Monday announcement.
Created by Krafton, the studio known for PUBG, Overdare is a create-to-earn metaverse game set for a worldwide launch in the latter half of 2024.
The alliance with Circle goes beyond just in-game wallet capabilities. Overdare intends to revolutionize intellectual property (IP) and revenue management for creators by utilizing Circle’s Programmable Wallets. This integration will support IP trading and enable direct payouts in USDC, providing creators with opportunities to explore new income avenues.

Overdare’s Fusion of Unreal Engine 5 and NFT Monetization
Inspired by the gaming platform Roblox, Overdare employs Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5 to provide AI-driven creation tools. This enables players to assume the role of game designers within the metaverse, crafting their own distinctive experiences.
