Caution: Cybercriminals Advertise Phony BONE Airdrop Through SHIB Telegram Administrator Account

TL;DR
- The SHIB Telegram administrator account was breached, resulting in a deceptive BONE token airdrop announcement.
- Vet Kusama informed the community about the fraudulent token distribution, advising individuals not to click on any associated links.
- Members of the Shiba Inu community are urged to remain vigilant, as there are ongoing threats from scammers posing as legitimate projects and individuals.
Another Warning
The Shiba Inu community must exercise extreme caution once more, as the SHIB Telegram administrator account has recently been compromised. Furthermore, malicious actors have made a false announcement regarding a BONE token airdrop, claiming that everyone can take part in this fraudulent offering.
The X (Twitter) user known as Vet Kusama was the one who alerted the public about this situation. They emphasized that no such token distribution is taking place, urging people to avoid clicking on any links promoting it.
Some of the Previous Alerts
It appears that the Shiba Inu community must remain alert at all times due to the persistent threats facing the ecosystem. Shibarmy Scam Alerts – the X account focused on safeguarding against fraud and malicious actors – recently cautioned individuals to be particularly careful when connecting their crypto wallets to unfamiliar decentralized applications.
The team noted that scammers are “clever” and can develop Dapps that closely resemble the authentic ones associated with Shiba Inu (SHIB), Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), Doge Killer (LEASH), and other memecoins.
Additionally, “sly” bad actors pose as representatives of “trustworthy projects or services” and impersonate well-known figures to lend credibility to their fraudulent offerings.
Shibarium’s Marketing Strategist – LUCIE – has also issued a serious warning, advising individuals to perform thorough due diligence before engaging with SHIB’s ecosystem due to wrongdoers who utilize the memecoin’s logo or Shibarium’s name in their initiatives.
