Bitpanda, a European digital asset platform primarily located in Austria, has unveiled its suite, a platform aimed at facilitating users’ access to the decentralized web.

The objective of this new suite is to render Web3 technologies available to a broader audience, ranging from experienced crypto enthusiasts to beginners, as stated in Bitpanda’s press release dated Jan. 22, which was shared with CryptoNews.

The Bitpanda Web3 ecosystem is underpinned by the Pantos protocol, enabling multichain interoperability, and the Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST), which powers the entire Bitpanda ecosystem.

The future is on-chain.

Bitpanda Co-Founder: “The Future of the Web is On-Chain”

Simplicity, security, and user-friendliness are fundamental principles of Bitpanda Web3, according to the company.

“We are convinced that the future of the web will be built on-chain,” remarked Eric Demuth, co-CEO and co-founder of Bitpanda, adding:

“However, similar to the early days of crypto, access is complicated, ambiguous, and lacks a standard – until now. Bitpanda Web3 merges innovation with trust to enable everyone to access on-chain. This is our contribution to shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for the web.”

Bitpanda Web3 to Launch with Smart Wallet and Launchpad

Bitpanda’s Web3 initiative will feature two main components: a non-custodial smart wallet and a launchpad. Both will seamlessly integrate with the existing broker, ensuring a “smooth and user-friendly experience for depositing, investing, and withdrawing funds.”

The wallet, set to launch in Q1 2025, simplifies access to decentralized applications (DApps). Users can easily deposit and withdraw funds, benefit from secure seed backups, and swap over 3,000 cryptocurrencies with a single click. A “Discover” section will showcase opportunities, and dedicated customer support will be available.

The launchpad, expected to debut in Q3 2025, will provide early access to curated Web3 projects. It offers a “comprehensive end-to-end solution” for token issuers, including legal and development support. “The launchpad is fully integrated into the Bitpanda broker, ensuring a seamless, regulatory-compliant experience that adheres to MiCAR standards,” Bitpanda stated.

Oliver Kahn Joins as Ambassador

Former German football star and experienced crypto investor, Oliver Kahn, has been appointed as an ambassador for Bitpanda’s Web3 initiative.

“Blockchain technology and the crypto industry have consistently shown their potential. Web3 is the next step,” Kahn stated, adding: “It’s a completely new way to experience and utilize the internet.”

In addition to partnering with Oliver Kahn, Bitpanda has previously strategically broadened its reach through collaborations with prominent football clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, FC Bayern Munich, and AC Milan.
