Ben Armstrong Issues Apology to Cryptocurrency Community Following Bitboy Controversy, Suggests Return

Ben Armstrong of Bitboy Crypto has issued a heartfelt apology video following his removal from the company.

In the emotional video posted on the BitBoy Crypto YouTube channel, he was joined by his wife, Bethany. Armstrong recognized that his actions contributed to his dismissal from the organization.

Armstrong’s Apology

While he refuted claims of returning to the use of hard drugs such as cocaine and methamphetamines, Armstrong acknowledged using diet pills and steroids, which resulted in him “acting erratically.”

He also admitted to engaging in an affair with an unnamed individual, a situation that contradicted his portrayal as a devoted family man. However, Bethany affirmed that she had forgiven Ben for the infidelity and had no intention of leaving him, having “invested too much” in their relationship.

In the video, Armstrong reaffirmed his dedication to rectifying the circumstances that led to his termination. Although he was taken aback by the confrontation regarding his substance use and infidelity, he expressed his willingness to collaborate with the Hit Network team to ensure the ongoing success of the Bitboy Crypto Channel.

Armstrong, whose exit from Bitboy Crypto created significant waves within the crypto community, mentioned that despite having various options for legal action, he opted to partner with the Bitboy team to preserve and expand the company.

He emphasized his desire to sustain the various brands under the Bitboy Crypto umbrella, including Voomio, Bit Boy Academy, Crucial Crypto, and Hit Network. Despite the current downturn in the non-fungible token (NFT) market, the influencer stressed his continued belief in the potential of these brands, particularly Voomio’s capacity to become a leading platform for such tokens.

Internal Conflict

Armstrong, who established Bitboy Crypto and its parent company Hit Network, parted ways with the organization on Aug. 29, following reports of an internal dispute with his partners TJ Shedd and Justin Williams.

While the video strongly suggests that personal issues were the primary reason for Armstrong’s departure from Bitboy Crypto, others, including crypto investigator ZachXBT, have raised questions about whether it was triggered by his association with several low-reputation meme coins.

The crypto influencer has faced backlash for promoting risky and dubious crypto investments to novice investors through affiliate links, with reports indicating that he sold tokens after endorsing them to his audience.

In the midst of this turmoil, the future of Armstrong’s digital currency, BEN, has also come under scrutiny. Although some followers have anticipated its downfall, Armstrong has minimized such concerns.
