American Dad Meme Coin KLAUS Surges; Will Flockerz Become the First Chicken Meme Coin?
The newly launched American Dad themed meme coin Klaus ($KLAUS) has experienced a tumultuous first week.
Just yesterday, it surged by 700% and reached a market capitalization of $50 million within a mere two days.
However, this rapid rise has been met with an equally swift correction.
In the past 24 hours, Klaus experienced an 18% decline, resulting in a market cap reduction to $36 million, bringing its price down to $0.03552 at the time of this report.
Klaus debuted last Thursday, presenting itself primarily as a meme coin created “for entertainment purposes,” yet it seems to have sparked new enthusiasm within the community.
Despite meme coins accounting for an impressive $62.4 billion of the overall crypto market cap of $2.45 trillion, many enthusiasts within the sector believe it lacks variety.
Introducing Klaus: The Beginning of the Seth MacFarlane Meme Coin Trend?
For much of the industry’s history, dog-themed meme coins such as $SHIB and $FLOKI have dominated, paying tribute to the original meme coin $DOGE.
Additionally, there are several successful coins inspired by characters from Matt Furie’s webcomic Boy’s Club: $PEPE and $BRETT boast market caps of $4.3 billion and $1.1 billion, respectively.
The Matt Furie meta has been extensively discussed on CT with all the various characters he created (pepe, andy, brett, etc).
Is $KLAUS from American Dad the beginning of the Seth MacFarlane meta?

Nonetheless, Klaus marks the first successful tribute to Seth MacFarlane, the creator of American Dad and Family Guy, within the space.
On X, Kelsier Ventures partner and crypto trader @TraderKoz welcomed this new addition. YouTube influencer Austin Hilton also highlighted the token as one to monitor.
However, the magnitude of Klaus’s correction in the last 24 hours raises questions regarding its capacity to maintain momentum.
Klaus reached $0.05 five times within 48 hours over the past week but was unable to sustain that level, consistently hitting lows of $0.03.

Klaus’s declining RSI score of 36 suggests it may soon be oversold and could potentially rebound over the weekend, aligning with the broader upward trend in the meme coin sector.
Traders Move from Klaus to Vote-To-Earn Flockerz
Klaus had a strong launch, but whether it can maintain its gains and establish itself as a leading meme coin by 2025 remains uncertain.
Its lack of utility renders it a low-value proposition, ultimately limiting its function to “buy the dip, sell the top.”
However, in the realm of meme coin ICOs, numerous innovative projects are emerging, providing investors with various opportunities to earn rewards while preserving the fun, volatility, and viral marketing associated with meme coins.
As traders exit Klaus, there has been an increase in investments in the new vote-to-earn (V2E) meme coin Flockerz ($FLOCK).
Its presale commenced last month and has quickly raised over $821,000.
Promoting itself as “The People’s Meme Coin,” Flockerz provides crypto enthusiasts with unparalleled community-building incentives and staking rewards.
Holders of Flockerz (referred to as “The $FLOCK”) are vital participants in a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) named Flocktopia, where they can propose and vote on governance and improvement initiatives.
This framework ensures that community consensus drives decisions rather than a centralized entity.
Approximately 25% of the project’s total supply of 12 billion $FLOCK tokens is allocated for staking, with the protocol offering astonishing yields of 2,164% on the tokens locked for a two-year staking period.

Flockerz is a transparent and fully audited initiative.
That’s why Coinsult audited its smart contract to provide investors with assurance.
Moreover, Flockerz is pursuing listings on both centralized and decentralized exchanges (CEXs and DEXs), indicating its global aspirations, similar to Bitcoin Cash. The vote-to-earn mechanism will be implemented following these listings.
Stay tuned, as this $FLOCK is set to soar!
