It seems that the sector remains a significant target for cybercriminals.

On the morning of May 28th, another breach occurred, this time affecting the liquidity platform Jimbos Protocol.

  • Jimbos Protocol was compromised today – May 28th.
  • As reported by PeckShield, the breach led to a loss of approximately 4,000 , valued at around $7.5 million at the time of the event.
  • According to PeckShield:

This breach is attributed to the absence of slippage control in the liquidity-shifting process – causing the protocol-owned liquidity to be allocated into a skewed or imbalanced price range, which is then exploited during reverse swaps for profit.

  • The team has already responded to the situation and is reportedly working to investigate and reach out to the exploiter.
