zkSync Era Mainnet Debuts on LayerZero
- On Thursday, LayerZero was launched on the zkSync Era Mainnet.
- The largest bug bounty initiative has chosen LayerZero to ensure platform dependability.
Following the launch of zkSync Era Mainnet on March 24, LayerZero has been introduced on zkSync, facilitating interoperability across more than 30 chains. This allows developers to create zkSync applications and enhance their projects with the largest bug bounty program available.

The zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) featured in zkSync Era represents the second version of the Layer 2 Ethereum scaling network. It facilitates easier application deployment for developers without requiring significant modifications. Additionally, it functions as a permissionless and barrier-free performance provider.
LayerZero serves as an omnichain interoperability protocol that offers a messaging framework for advancing zkSync development across over 30 supported chains.
LayerZero Expands to zkSync
The successful implementation of LayerZero on zkSync Era Mainnet is anticipated to enhance flexibility and interoperability. Within the blockchain sector, this protocol ensures adequate authentication and reliable message transmission while establishing trust.
Moreover, LayerZero Labs has initiated the largest bug bounty program, offering $15 million for ongoing assessments to bolster security. To date, LayerZero has allocated nearly $1 million for disclosed vulnerabilities. Additionally, the Aptos Bridge is set to participate with a distinct bug bounty of $2 million.
LayerZero aims to enhance the efficiency of cross-chain communication, enabling the development of intricate interconnected applications. Furthermore, it offers a dependable platform with robust security for developers.
