Realio Network is a Layer 1 blockchain within the Cosmos ecosystem that enables Web3 capabilities. Prior to the Alpha Launch, the network underwent months of testing via a testnet, which proved successful. During this testing phase, challenges included API (Application Programming Interface) integration with the infrastructure. Developers worked diligently to innovate and resolve these issues quickly before the launch.
The objective is for Realio Network to become a game-changer in attracting investors and enhancing potential through the Alpha launch. Enthusiasts believe that this phase of the Network’s development will engage the user community by facilitating blockchain-based asset management.
Eduardo Romeiro, Director & Co-Founder of Engineering at Realio, stated:
‘It will enable everything we envision, from the products we aim to build, the community we strive to work with, and ultimately the users we will reach.’
What’s New in Realio’s Alpha Launch?
This launch introduces the first Asset Model that allows user-created assets to be hosted on various Layer 1 blockchains. All these blockchains operate through a single interoperable ecosystem, ensuring the security and safety of assets.
Additionally, Realio Network supports the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) with its Proof-Of-Stake (PoS) mechanism. The network features two native utility tokens: $RIO (Realio Network Token) and $RST (Realio Security Token). According to CoinMarketCap, the RIO token price is currently at $0.3092, reflecting an 8.78% increase over the last 24 hours.
The team is also developing the Freehold Wallet application. This will be a non-custodial DeFi-enabled wallet built on Realio’s blockchain. In terms of future prospects, it will facilitate reward claiming and token staking.
