The public testnet for Venom, a Layer-1 blockchain operating under the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), has officially launched today. This milestone marks a significant advancement in Venom’s development plan as it prepares for its mainnet launch. In conjunction with the testnet rollout, Venom has also introduced several internally developed decentralized applications as part of its growing ecosystem.
The design of the testnet is advantageous for both ecosystem users and developers. It enables users to engage with these dApps directly while providing developers the opportunity to test and refine blockchain protocols and dApps. The initiative is intended to foster innovation and community growth within the ecosystem.
Developers and users can access the testnet through two straightforward steps. First, users should install the Venom Wallet on their mobile devices via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or on their computers using the Google Chrome extension. Second, users can quickly begin testing the Venom ecosystem by requesting a complimentary testnet allocation.
