Kresus Launches Dapp Marketplace for Navigating the Polygon Ecosystem

Web3 SuperApp Kresus has launched Kresus Marketplace, a unified platform for exploring decentralized applications (dapps) on Polygon. Users of the Kresus SuperApp, which serves as a global wallet and gateway to all things web3, can now access the Polygon ecosystem and engage with its most prominent dapps.
Kresus Marketplace, a new feature of the Kresus SuperApp, was unveiled on August 17 and aims to revolutionize user interaction with blockchain technology. The design was supported by Polygon Labs, and it was built utilizing Meroku’s Protocol to deliver a refined app store experience that seamlessly integrates a dapp browser with web3 connectivity.
Polygon stands out as a leading network for dapps targeting areas such as DeFi, GameFi, digital identities, and social networking. Consequently, Kresus users will gain access to a diverse array of dapps that leverage Polygon’s vast ecosystem.
Polygon’s Ravikant Agrawal stated: “Polygon Labs is thrilled about the launch of the curated Kresus Marketplace. The Kresus SuperApp is becoming one of the most innovative and user-friendly wallets, and their team has applied that same philosophy to their marketplace. Projects within the Polygon ecosystem will now have the chance to reach an entirely new audience from the Kresus community, creating unprecedented opportunities for introduction and growth.”
Trevor Traina, CEO and Founder of KresusLabs remarked: “Polygon is central to much of the innovation and opportunities emerging in web3. Integrating Polygon into Kresus Marketplace was a logical choice that aligns with our vision for the Kresus SuperApp. With the backing of Polygon Labs, we’ve developed a dapp explorer that is both intuitive and accessible, enabling users to discover the various aspects of web3 and incorporate them into their daily routines.”
A secure method for exploring web3 is facilitated by the Kresus SuperApp’s dedicated dapp store. With a user experience (UX) akin to web2, it introduces users to blockchain-based applications. As a result, interacting with onchain apps becomes simpler, leading to a more enriching and secure user experience.
Kresus plans to introduce a range of new tools to enhance access to the Polygon ecosystem in support of its Marketplace launch. Among these tools is Kresus Connect, an SDK that allows a select number of Polygon projects and dapps to offer a Kresus wallet connection. This will lead to an increase in users on their individual platforms, while Kresus users will find it easier to access the top projects on Polygon.
Kresus users can now navigate the Polygon ecosystem in a user-friendly web3 environment without needing to export their account information, from exploring metaverses to establishing digital identities. SuperApp users will be able to quickly and effortlessly start discovering the best of Polygon through the Kresus Marketplace.
