Fraudsters establish counterfeit Blockworks website to deplete cryptocurrency wallets
Phishing fraudsters have replicated the websites of the crypto media platform Blockworks and the Ethereum blockchain explorer Etherscan to deceive unaware users into engaging with a fraudulent site.
A counterfeit Blockworks site features a fabricated “BREAKING” news article regarding an alleged multimillion-dollar “approvals exploit” on the decentralized exchange Uniswap, urging users to visit a spoofed Etherscan site to revoke approvals.
