Call of Duty Developers Set to Release New Game on ImmutableX
- The creators of Call of Duty are set to introduce a new game titled Kaidro on the ImmutableX blockchain.
- Kaidro is situated in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi realm featuring sorcerers and mech operators engaged in combat.
- The game presents a combination of PvP, PvE, and questing, with groups of players battling against one another.
Recent reports indicate that the developers of Call of Duty are preparing to unveil a new game named Kaidro on the ImmutableX blockchain later this year.
For over a decade, Peggy Chung and Robert Simons, the co-founders of Gadget-Bot, have been working on Kaidro, an expansive sci-fi universe. Their latest project involves transitioning the game to the Web3 network, converting it into a PC role-playing game (RPG) on the Ethereum scaling network.
Within the world of “Kaidro,” players will inhabit a post-apocalyptic planet where formidable sorcerers and mech operators partake in intense confrontations. The game will deliver an exciting blend of PvP, PvE, and questing, with three teams of three players striving to achieve objectives across various maps while simultaneously defending against rival teams.
Kaidro Game Set to Transform the Gaming Sector
According to Simons, the eagerly awaited Kaidro game is set to transform the gaming sector with its distinctive approach to character ownership. In this game, each non-fungible token (NFT) will grant players exclusive access to a playable character from a specific clan, encompassing everything from mechs and pilots to spirit guardians.
The development team behind Kaidro has confirmed that while the game is presently available only on PC, players will eventually be able to access it on their mobile devices. Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to acquire specific characters within the game.
Reports suggest that the Kaidro team has also revealed that a free-to-play version of the game will be offered for those interested in trying it out before committing to Kaidro NFTs.

The team previously leveraged Kickstarter to obtain funding for the development of Kaidro. It raised significant funds to create a series of physical graphic novels inspired by the original Webtoons comics. The comics have already garnered over 1.6 million views and achieved an impressive 9.6-star rating.
