Barcelona Prepares for European Blockchain Convention Scheduled for October 240

The largest blockchain event in Europe is set to occur in Barcelona from October 24 to 27. The European Blockchain Convention 9 (EBC9), scheduled for the Catalonian capital, will represent the most significant gathering of its kind in the latter half of 2023. Anticipating around 5,000 participants, it will also be the largest European Blockchain Convention since its inception in 2018.

The final weekend of October will be bustling in Barcelona as EBC9 takes place, attracting industry experts to the three-day crypto convention. Concurrently, the highly awaited El Clásico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid will also occur during the conference.

The European Blockchain Convention 9 will feature 300 founders, CEOs, and business leaders, including high-ranking officials from Nansen, Fidelity, Fabric Ventures, and Animoca Brands. In addition to executives from leading blockchain companies, speakers from traditional enterprises such as Banco Santander and Volkswagen will also participate. Furthermore, senior representatives from Galaxy Digital and Binance Labs are expected to attend.

Building on that momentum, we are relocating EBC9 to Fira Barcelona, a significantly larger venue. The program will also feature a 3,000 sqm exhibition area for sponsors and exhibitors, alongside panel discussions and workshops conducted on three stages. Additionally, there will be five themed networking lounges, one-on-one meeting spaces, and AMA sessions with speakers. An investor meeting, an exhibition, and the second edition of the EBC Start-up Awards are among the other activities planned for EBC9.

A 48-hour hackathon involving over 200 hackers, more than 30 mentors, and 20 teams will be a highlight among the side events.
