Animoca Brands Joins as a Validator for TON

Animoca Brands, a prominent Web3 venture firm, has become the largest validator for The Open Network (TON) blockchain. This partnership between the TON Foundation and Animoca Brands is designed to attract new users to Web3 via mini-apps integrated with Telegram.
“Together, we will seamlessly integrate Web3 into the everyday experiences of Telegram users, especially in gaming, for a worldwide audience to appreciate,” stated Justin Hyun, Director of Growth at the TON Foundation.
To date, TON has handled over 165 million transactions, with daily transaction volumes remaining consistent this year at approximately 200,000.
One area of focus for Animoca is TON Play, a gaming infrastructure platform that allows gaming projects developed on TON to launch directly on Telegram and enables developers to transfer existing web games into the Telegram environment.
