Vitalik Buterin suggested simplifying Ethereum staking., 2026/03/11 12:25:25

Co-founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, expressed that the management of network nodes should not be limited to professionals alone.
He stated that the initiation of staking needs to be as automated as possible. This would enable both companies and regular users to manage blockchain infrastructure without the need for specialists.
Buterin emphasized that his strategic aim is to develop a system where launching nodes requires minimal time and does not involve complex configurations.
“The ideal scenario is to set up a node literally with one click,” he highlighted.
The developer criticized the common belief that managing blockchain infrastructure should remain the domain of experts. “Such an approach undermines decentralization,” Buterin asserted.
As a potential solution, he suggested utilizing pre-configured Docker or Nix images. In this case, the user would only need to input an access key, after which the system could automatically deploy the infrastructure.
According to Buterin, once launched, nodes would be able to automatically discover each other within the network, establish connections, and undergo the Distributed Key Generation (DKG) process, subsequently launching the validator.
He added that he intends to implement this approach in the near future and will present the outcomes to the community.
Previously, Vitalik Buterin proposed employing transaction simulations and other mechanisms to enhance the security of cryptocurrency wallets and smart contracts, as well as to improve user experience.
