The London Crypto Club identified the conflict with Iran as a contributing factor to Bitcoin’s increase., 2026/03/04 12:13:34

Analysts from the London Crypto Club, a community of traders and investors based in the UK, have stated that the military actions by Israel and the United States against Iran could serve as a positive influence for Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market.
They believe that the escalation of tensions in the Middle East has acted as a catalyst that the market has been anticipating in recent months. The decline in Bitcoin prices amid news of the conflict is viewed by them as a typical correction within the current market cycle.
The analysts pointed out that some investors have expressed doubts regarding Bitcoin’s ability to function as a safe-haven asset during times of economic strain. However, they assert that the fundamental attributes of the leading cryptocurrency remain unchanged.
Should the military conflict with Iran prolong, investors may begin to purchase Bitcoin en masse as a safeguard against potential economic and political upheavals. In such a scenario, experts believe that the first cryptocurrency could emerge as one of the primary beneficiaries alongside gold.
In an alternative scenario—if the conflict concludes within a month—a wave of optimism could arise in the markets, which may also support an increase in BTC prices.
“Sell-offs of risk assets during wars are typically short-lived, as conflicts lead to increased debt and deficits, necessitating additional liquidity and the activation of the ‘printing press’ to finance the war,” the analysts from London Crypto Club noted.
They estimate that the U.S. Federal Reserve may boost liquidity levels in the financial system to support the economy, which could potentially serve as an additional growth driver for Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.
Previously, analysts from Wintermute cautioned that a prolonged conflict between the U.S. and Israel on one side and Iran on the other could, conversely, trigger significant sell-offs of high-risk assets, including Bitcoin.
