Russian broker to initiate trading of shares in cryptocurrency mining fund., 2026/02/14 10:15:18

The Russian brokerage firm “Finam” has registered a fund focused on cryptocurrency mining with the Bank of Russia and intends to commence trading its shares in the coming days. This was announced by the company’s chairman, Vladislav Kochetkov.
According to him, the fund is in the final stages of operational preparation. The company is also considering launching a range of investment products related to the extraction of digital assets in the future.
The computational infrastructure is located in the Ardatovsky district of the Republic of Mordovia. Kochetkov stated that the site is connected to gas infrastructure, enabling the use of distributed gas generation for powering mining equipment.
The company employs next-generation equipment, and the chosen energy supply model aims to reduce operational costs and enhance efficiency.
The management of the mined assets will be based on a conservative strategy within the cryptocurrency market, utilizing specific decentralized finance tools, the company head noted.
This year, the fund will focus on investments aimed at creating and scaling infrastructure.
In June of the previous year, the Russian company “Power Systems” launched a closed-end mutual investment fund “Finam — Crypto Plant 1.0” for qualified investors, utilizing electricity generation from natural gas.
