The CEO of the analytics platform CryptoQuant, Ki Young Ju, stated that Bitcoin has minimal chances of exhibiting a bullish trend in the near term.

He believes that the capital entering the cryptocurrency market is rapidly absorbed by sellers. Even substantial inflows do not provide Bitcoin with the opportunity to rise, and its market capitalization continues to decline.

Ki Young Ju asserts that liquidity from institutional investors will not act as a growth catalyst until the cryptocurrency market alleviates the strong selling pressure.

Traders who entered the market at lower prices are utilizing any rebounds as an opportunity to secure profits or mitigate risks. Consequently, demand, even when supported by funds, does not translate into a sustainable upward trend but merely offsets the capital exiting the market, the analyst noted.

In the short term, the leading cryptocurrency is expected to remain in a phase of low volatility with extremely limited growth potential, despite ongoing interest from major players, concluded Ki Young Ju.

Previously, analysts from investment firm Bernstein indicated that by the end of the year, Bitcoin’s price could reach $150,000, and the current correction represents the weakest bear cycle in the history of the first cryptocurrency.
