Seeing the interest of users, scammers began to actively create channels with similar names. This was reported by Izvestia with reference to cybersecurity experts.
In essence, Emoji Stake is a typical casino, and such entertainment always arouses the interest of users. According to aggregators, in recent weeks the number of mentions of Emoji Stake in various Telegram channels is in the tens of thousands, despite the fact that the bot is currently only available to premium users.

“We see this in the number of requests from victims. Many victims have been misled by flashy advertising campaigns promising instant wealth by betting on TON coins. Of course, most often this ended in the loss of money, since the proposed scheme was purely fraudulent,” said Igor Bederov, head of the Internet-Rozysk company.
Cybersecurity experts also emphasized that scammers can use interest in Emoji Stake not only to steal funds, but also to “hijack” user accounts.
“About 150,000-200,000 people could become potential victims of fraudulent schemes around Emoji Stake. Their actual number depends on the final form of this gaming function and its promotion by Telegram,” says Evgeniy Balk, head of the development and architecture department at Cross Technologies.
According to Elliptic, the Telegram messenger has become a popular platform for illegal cryptocurrency marketplaces.
