Мошенники стали обманывать с листингом токенов на бирже Binance0

A member of the Solana crypto project community recounted how he nearly fell victim to a scammer who was offering a token listing on the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Binance.

The individual shared that an unknown person reached out to him via Telegram, promising a guaranteed token listing on exchanges for spot trading of cryptocurrencies and requested an unspecified fee.

The fraudster claimed to be in the vicinity of Binance’s main owner, Changpeng Zhao, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The scammer even sent a photo that was generated by artificial intelligence. The observant Solana participant became suspicious upon noticing that the individual, who claimed to be in the UAE with Zhao, was communicating in Chinese and was actually located in Nigeria.

Upon learning of this incident, Changpeng Zhao urged his followers to be wary of individuals promising assistance with project listings on Binance, particularly those referencing personal connections with the owner. Zhao assured that in 99.9% of cases, he does not know such individuals, and if he does, that person would “immediately be blacklisted.” Zhao stated that Binance does not charge fees for project listings.

Scammers have previously employed similar tactics, offering cryptocurrency placements on exchanges for a fee. They have previously impersonated Binance co-founder Yi He and, on behalf of Binance, proposed token giveaways for joining groups discussing cryptocurrencies.
