DWF Labs Head Andrey Grachev: The Cryptocurrency Market Will Soon Hit Bottom, 2026/02/06 11:09:57

The CEO of DWF Labs and Falcon Finance, Andrey Grachev, stated that the cryptocurrency market is expected to reach its bottom soon, with fluctuations likely within 15% of the current Bitcoin price.
Grachev highlighted that venture capitalists continue to remain highly active, particularly in the area of real asset tokenization (RWA) and new large-scale projects. However, direct purchases on the open market are still limited: with available liquidity, major players prefer to negotiate more favorable terms on over-the-counter platforms.
According to the head of DWF Labs, launching new initiatives in the crypto market appears significantly easier than attempting to revive projects from the previous cycle. This is why a considerable number of altcoins may not recover following the bear market. Only those projects with a sustainable business model and genuine user engagement are likely to maintain long-term prospects.
He also drew attention to the behavior of retail investors. Currently, they primarily trade on platforms like Pump.fun or explore prediction markets, including Polymarket. However, as the market rises, this same retail segment is expected to shift towards tokens that are already attracting funds and professional participants, according to Grachev.
The market continues to experience a wave of mergers and acquisitions, with several companies preparing for an initial public offering. In this context, the question of future growth, as per the CEO of DWF Labs, is not whether it will happen, but rather the timeline for its realization.
Previously, Matt Hougan, the investment director of the crypto asset management firm Bitwise, remarked that the current downturn in the crypto market is not a short-term price correction, but a genuine crypto winter.
