Changpeng Zhao shared his expectations for Bitcoin's growth

Changpeng Zhao (Changpeng Zhao), co-founder of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, stated that Bitcoin has a chance to surpass gold in during the next bull cycle.

Currently, gold’s market capitalization is approximately ten times that of Bitcoin. Zhao attributes the narrowing gap to the gradual shift in investor and state attitudes toward reserve assets.

“Leading countries have built comprehensive systems around gold for valuation, reservation, and trading, so the transition to Bitcoin will not happen overnight,” Zhao said.

He suggested that over time, states will begin to accumulate digital assets. According to Zhao, more than half of such an ideal state reserve could consist of Bitcoin, with the remainder including Ethereum and BNB, Binance’s native cryptocurrency.

will serve as the first link between cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence services, the entrepreneur announced:

“Once you can accept stablecoins, adding Bitcoin will be very easy.”

According to Zhao’s assessment, AI’s impact will be felt in trading before it affects payments. Traders must process large volumes of information, monitor news, and respond promptly to market changes—tasks that AI algorithms can partially perform. Zhao believes that applying AI in trading could increase trading efficiency tenfold.

Previously, Matt Cole, CEO of the American investment company Strive, suggested that the upcoming market growth phase could be the most powerful for Bitcoin in the asset’s entire history.
