Bitcoin exchange-traded funds see sixth consecutive day of capital inflow., 2026/03/17 17:11:00

Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are experiencing a capital influx for the sixth consecutive trading session. From March 9 to March 17, investors allocated $962.8 million into BTC-ETFs, according to data from Farside Investors.
In just the past 24 hours, Bitcoin ETFs received $199.4 million. The leading fund was the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) from BlackRock, attracting $139.4 million, followed by the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) with $64.5 million. The Bitwise Bitcoin ETF and Franklin Bitcoin ETF saw increases of $2.8 million and $2.1 million, respectively. Only two funds reported outflows: the VanEck Bitcoin ETF and ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, which experienced withdrawals of $6.3 million and $3.1 million, respectively.
Over these six days, Bitcoin has risen by 12.5%, moving from $65,960 to $74,250. Currently, the leading cryptocurrency is trading above $73,000 with a market capitalization of $1.4 trillion. The daily trading volume for Bitcoin has increased by 23%, reaching $54.72 billion.
Analysts from Santiment attributed the influx of funds into such ETFs to improved trader sentiment, influenced by the so-called FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) effect — the anxiety of missing potential gains. Despite uncertainties surrounding the prospects of military conflict in the Middle East, traders have identified growth potential for Bitcoin in the coming weeks and months, according to Santiment experts.
The recent six-day period marks the longest uninterrupted influx of funds into BTC-ETFs since October of last year. However, the total amount of capital raised still falls short of the record nine-day streak observed in the fall, when Bitcoin ETFs attracted nearly $6 billion, and the price of the leading cryptocurrency reached an all-time high of $126,080.
In February, Italy’s largest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, disclosed its investments in cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds. As of December 31, the bank had invested $72.6 million in ARK 21Shares Bitcoin shares and $23.4 million in iShares Bitcoin Trust shares.
